{"id":1530,"date":"2013-10-01T21:51:26","date_gmt":"2013-10-01T20:51:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/robcaddphotography.co.uk\/?p=1530"},"modified":"2013-10-01T21:51:26","modified_gmt":"2013-10-01T20:51:26","slug":"royal-county-of-berkshire-show-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/robcaddphotography.co.uk\/?p=1530","title":{"rendered":"Royal County of Berkshire Show 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Newbury Showground<!--more--> The Royal County of Berkshire Show, one of the last big shows of the season,\u00a0enjoyed a rain-free weekend on 21st and 22nd\u00a0September 2013, .<\/p>\n<p>[ZFP_Photo id=&#8217;#h75f8aaef&#8217;]<\/p>\n<p>I spent most of each day at the Show, the result of which are the 1200-odd photos in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/robcadd.zenfolio.com\/f700302169\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>2013 Royal County of Berkshire Show gallery<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the Saturday, I shot most of the sheep breed classes; the gallery splits these down by breed (Saturday photos only, includes interbreed and groups), with a fair number of shots of each of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Berrichon du Cher &#8211; Black Welsh Mountain\u00a0&#8211; Blue Texel &#8211; Clun Forest &#8211; Dorset Down &#8211; Dorset Horn\/Poll Dorset &#8211; Exmoor Horn &#8211; Hampshire Down &#8211; Herdwick &#8211;\u00a0Jacob &#8211; Kerry Hill &#8211; Leicester Longwool &#8211; Oxford Down &#8211;\u00a0Shetland &#8211;\u00a0Southdown &#8211; Zwartbles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8230; and a few other shots of various other breeds.<\/p>\n<p>I also photographed the Young Handlers on the Saturday &#8211; these have their own section in the gallery.<\/p>\n<p>[ZFP_Photo id=&#8217;#h795b0661&#8242;]<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, I decided to get in a bit more practice on the video-making side, so &#8211; sorry &#8211;\u00a0but no photos from the Sunday morning classes (Primitives, etc.) but watch this space if you&#8217;re interested in video!<\/p>\n<p>The RBST Young Shepherd finals took place after the morning breed classes, so I switched back into photo mode and shot the junior and senior finals and the Championship. Congrats to Jack &amp; Declan and to all the other finalists.
