Once again, my first outing of the show season is the Newark & Nottinghamshire County Show.

I managed to make it for the first day of this two-day show, held over the weekend of 12 & 13 May 2012.

No rain this time around — quite the opposite in fact. Very welcome indeed after the previous few weeks of deluges and grey. And a nice easy drive from my home too.

Around 800 photos in the galleries from that day, with most being from the sheep section (surpise surprise… well, this is SheepShots!). I didn’t make it as far away as the cattle, although there are a few shots of some of the nearby pigs and a few Saanen goats in there too.
