A (very) wet Sunday at Burley-on-the-Hill near Oakham…  

Weather: Rain, a bit less rain, a bit more rain (repeated ad infinitum).

Nearly 300 photos are now in the galleries, taken at intervals between me rushing off to the goat marquee to dry out my camera gear!

Most af the shots in the Rutland County Show 2012 gallery are of the following sheep breeds (although see the Other Breeds section of the gallery for one or two others):

There are also a few shots of the Cottesmore Hunt hounds taken as they were waiting to go into the main ring.

Thanks especially to Lesley for giving me a lift up to the Show — it’s always a great insight into the “other” side of showing sheep.
