The Newark and Nottinghamshire County Show 2010 was held at the Newark Showground over the weekend of 8th/9th May 2010.

Unfortunately, I was only able to attend the Show on the Saturday, which, weatherwise, was much the worst of the two days. However, a larger-than-usual livestock entry meant that I was kept busy all day; luckily my camera was safely wrapped in a makeshift rain protector made from a Tesco freezer bag!

Most of the photos are from the sheep section, where the judging overran by at least a couple of hours, not finishing until after 6.30pm. There are a few shots from the cattle and pig classes too. There are also some shots of the impressive heavy horse turnout teams and pairs which were on display in the Main Ring.
